How it works

When you take a bills included property through The Student Living Co., your bills package is arranged through Unihomes as part of your tenancy. Is it worth it?

Bills included properties do tend to have a slightly higher monthly rent than non-inclusive equivalents, but when you factor in the actual cost of gas, electricity, water and broadband split between housemates, they often work out comparable in price. Add in the convenience and the peace of mind, and for most students it’s absolutely worth it.

Find a bills included property

As a student tenant you have important legal rights. Your landlord must keep the property safe and well maintained. Your deposit must be protected in a government approved scheme. You are entitled to at least 24 hours notice before your landlord visits the property. You cannot be evicted without proper legal process and notice. You have the right to see the property’s Energy Performance Certificate before you move in.
